About Our Team

Collins and Tim Chalmers have owned and operated Merry Maids of Wake County since 1988. Both are native to North Carolina and Tim is a lifelong resident of Raleigh. Over thirty years ago, Collins and Tim dreamed of being local small business owners. In 1988, they decided to partner with Merry Maids as franchise owners. In February 1989, their first son was born and they opened the doors of their brand new maid service. Their family, along with their local service business, has grown over the last 30 years. Family values and an ethical, respectful workplace have been the foundation for their continued success. They have been recognized seven times as a top 20 Merry Maids franchise operation nationwide, being recognized most recently in 2019.

They are joined by their office manager of over 25 years, Kara Trull, also a native of Raleigh. Nick Lusuriello, sales and customer service consultant, grew up in New York, and worked with his father and mother in a family business before moving his family to North Carolina. Stacey Onorio, assistant office manager, joined the business in 2012, moving from Morehead City, NC. She, like Kara, began as a cleaning team member, was promoted to team captain, then the office team, as she consistently demonstrated commitment to deliver high quality customer service.

Your Merry Maids of Wake County is committed to hiring and training the best and most dedicated professionals to service your home. All team members earn top pay, paid holiday and vacation days, as well as company matching 401K benefits.
